Paddock Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Paddock, operated by Autumn Sun LLC (“Paddock,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the Paddock website, API, Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, or any other Paddock service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using Paddock you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that your use of Paddock complies with all laws that apply to you. If you are using Paddock on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of service
Paddock provides free, public, read-only data about the AI agent commerce economy through:
- The Paddock website and dashboards at paddock.finance
- A public REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server
- Paid subscription products — currently the API Builder and Pro Agent tiers and the State of Agent Commerce report — billed through Stripe
All data Paddock publishes is informational. It is sourced from public on-chain records, third-party directories, and Paddock’s own probes and aggregations.
3. “As-is” — no warranty
Paddock is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the data is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted or secure, or that defects will be corrected. Your use of Paddock is at your own risk.
Not financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice. The data Paddock publishes — including transaction counts, category breakdowns, provider concentration measures, the Agent Commerce Index, reliability scores, and any commentary in the State of Agent Commerce report or elsewhere on the site — is for informational purposes only. Nothing on Paddock constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice, a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any token or security, or an offer or solicitation to do so. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult qualified professionals before acting on any information you find here.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, degrade, overload, or interfere with the Paddock service or its infrastructure
- Exceed the published rate limits for the API or MCP server, or attempt to circumvent them
- Use Paddock to engage in unlawful activity, harass others, or violate the rights of any third party
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at abusive volumes, or attempt to extract underlying systems beyond what the public interfaces expose
- Misrepresent Paddock data as your own original work without attribution, or use the Paddock name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement we have not given
Paddock data is free to view, free to cite, and free to share, with attribution to Paddock (paddock.finance). The Paddock brand, crest, and visual identity are reserved and may not be used in a way that implies affiliation or endorsement without our written permission.
5. Paid services
Paid subscriptions — the API tiers and the State of Agent Commerce report — are billed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s own terms of service. Subscriptions renew on the cadence shown at checkout until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through the customer portal linked in your welcome email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
API keys issued to paid customers are personal and must not be shared. We may revoke a key that is shared, misused, or used in violation of these Terms.
6. Third-party data and links
Paddock aggregates data from third-party sources including x402 facilitators, the CDP Bazaar, the MPP directory, TrustBench, and the official Model Context Protocol registry. Paddock does not control these sources and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or terms. Links to third-party sites or services are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autumn Sun LLC and its operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of Paddock — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to Paddock is limited to the amount you paid Paddock in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Autumn Sun LLC from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of Paddock, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Paddock at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or that your use poses a risk to Paddock or others. You may stop using Paddock at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including the as-is disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always lives at paddock.finance/terms with a “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the site or, for paid subscribers, via email. Continued use of Paddock after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Paddock will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
